Children are most vulnerable to Sexual Assault between the ages of 7-13, and 93% of the victims know their abuser. We all know the story of disgraced USA Gymnastics national team doctor Larry Nassar, the convicted serial rapist and sex offender, who victimized hundreds of young gymnasts. It took YEARS for those young women to come forward, many who had been victimized by him at 9-10 years old or younger! What can be done to help protect children from these predators?
